Selfie
This is my Self Portrait Collage that is named "Catastrophic Creativity". The message I was trying to portray was that... I'm creative. That's it. There isn't a whole lot of meaning behind this, I just wanted to express my creativity by showing some things I love. For example, my cats. I used my cat Buddy and Clara in this just to show how pretty (dumb) they are. I love these cats. A lot. And a way to show my love... is through creativity! Some other photos are landscape photos. Two of the sky, and one of this building I saw in Detroit when I went to take a LONG walk with my mom and her boyfriend. I LOOOOVE taking photos of the sky, and I've been meaning to look at taking photos of buildings (they're so unique!) so I added those to show my creativity (and to add more warm colors.)

Artist Statement:
A teacher, grading her students tests. She can't help but smile as she does. Not cause she likes to grade, no no... because of their answers. They did amazing work... She takes pride with these students, as she taught them well, smiling bigger at every packet, every page turn, and each stroke of her pink, pen.
Ms. Stark honestly means a crap ton to me. She's one of the reasons I love algebra a lot and how I look forward to learning more about it next year. She loves me for who I am and how I act, and I honestly appreciate that. I was actually looking forward to having her for geometry, but the school changed her schedule to only algebra. Anyways, she's like my mom and I love her.
I took her photo in her classroom based on how much natural light there is in her room. Her desk is like RIGHT by her window and it was nicely sunny out (and decently warm), so I took advantage of it. I also got her when she was in the middle of class, so it worked out honestly.
The things I sort of struggled with was trying to get a non-distracting background, trying to get a natural expression from others, and framing. I like to take photos of people while they're in the moment. I don't want them to stop, look at me, then pose, cause things have more life when photos are taken when they least expect it. And the framing... UGHJHAGKFHDG don't get me started. That was a PAIN to deal with. I had to crop a lot of photos, which I didn't want to do since I wanted it to have around the same quality it originally did. But, it downgraded a bit. Anyways, I still think they came out well.

Objects
I'm an artist. I draw. A lot. I draw doodles, pieces, "works of art" people claim. I draw them in a sketchbook, on my phone, on a computer, or in a school notebook like this. I believe that for some odd reason... my drawings are better looking when it's drawn on school work or during school. Lately however, I have been failing to believe that belief I made. It frustrates me.
I'm a foodie, y'know? I quite love eating food and I'm– kinda messy with it. Especially with chips. Things become all crumbly and I get dust all over my fingers... It's a hassle. So, I kinda just... Showed the thing I was eating WHILE taking these photos and ended up making a small mess (I spilt the bag onto the paper). So! I took advantage of it!
I LOVE tea! I feel relaxed whenever I drink it. I actually always make myself a cup of tea when I go to therapy so I can calm myself. That was a bit off topic– anyways, my favorite is green tea and I was planning on drinking some after the photoshoot I was doing. I had the idea to use a tea bag for it though! Yet unluckily, green tea doesn't always relax me. Sometimes it makes me confused and I get anxious like "WAIT I'M SUPPOSED TO BE FINE... WHAT'S GOING ON–" so I just expressed that by cutting open the... the tea bag.
Once again, I'm an artist. I don't only just draw, but I also paint! Not too often however– I get frustrated with painting more than I do with sketching and drawing. It makes me wanna just smear the paint and rip the paper apart– soooo... I expressed those feelings with the paint bottle and the paper in this photo.
Everyone drinks water. We drink water to live and survive cause we can't be drinking the same sugary or bitter drink every single days of our lives. I tell myself that. I pour myself a cup of water each day before or during my bedtime... but, I don't typically drink it all. I end up just drinking a preferred amount then dumping the rest of it out into the sink (which is something I need to stop doing.) I showed that by filling up water in a bottle, then just spilling some onto the paper with some still in the bottle.

Creek in the Back
This is the creek that travels all throughout my trailer park, and it's in my backyard, so it was quite easy to access. It often looks like slush due to it not wanting to ice over, yet still icing over at the same time? It's interesting. Anyway, it was the first location I went to, since again, it's directly in my backyard. An issue with this was trying to figure out... what of the creek to take a photo of? I had to crouch over a few times, meaning snow got on my bum. It was worth it though.
Weighed Snow
This area is by my mail boxes. Its really a broken down trees with a bunch of flimsy branches being weighed down by snow. It has been here since the REALLY huge storm that had winds at like... 70 mph? So it's been quite a few months. It was a very short walk from my house to there, since the mailboxes are a street across. I luckily didn't have any issues with this, since it was a very simple photo to take. I just had to be careful to not look stupid as people drove into the trailer park.
Wintery Leaves
This is a pine tree by the front of my trailer park. It's by this huge pond that's currently slushed over. I was suppose to go to my next destination, but since this was RIGHT BY the mailboxes I was at, I decided it would be easier to take a photo here then head over to my next destination, even if that mean walking a bit farther away from it. The biggest issue I had was trying to get a good angle. It was... annoying. BUT, I remembered my phone is cool and awesome, so I just flipped my phone to where the camera was closer to the branches and it worked! Thank you my trusty Google Pixel 7 (not an ad).
Slushed Pond
I'm not too happy with this photo, but it's good enough for me to upload (in my opinion). This is a DIFFERENT pond thats by my house. We have a lot of ponds here in Scio Farms. I originally was going to go here after I took a picture of the creek, but people were nearby and I didn't feel like embarrassing myself, so when I was taking photos by the front of the park, I noticed they left, so I ran back here and took a photo. I could've found a different angle or part to take a photo of, but did I? Nah. I got snow on my bum for this again and I'm not too happy about it this time.
Winter Forestland
I traveled to the playground for this one, which was in the middle of my trailer park. My shoes got dirty for this and I even took a swinging break for walking over here as it was cold (I was colder afterwards). There's a little woods area by the playground, so I took advantage of it and took some photos. I got on top of a tree for this and nearly fell off of it, and someone was watching me the whole time. I went home embarrassed that day. But, it looks cool so it was worth it.
Blueprints
This is by the office of my trailer park! I was going on a walk and noticed that this was a perfect place to start taking photos. I had a hard time finding a good angle and where to take the photo in all honesty, so I panicked and just took some of the front of the building. I was partially worried that I looked like some suspicious kid looking to cause trouble (like everyone else in this park), but I wasn't pulled aside or anything. Mission success if I do say so myself.
I went to a restaurant for brunch with my dad, uncle, and aunt— but we got there before it even opened. It was cold and I needed to do something that distracted me from it, so I decided to take photos. My dad showed me some spots that could be good to take and these were some of them! I love my dad. But sadly, I was still cold.
I was kind of stumped on how to take photos here, even though I thought it was a perfect place to take photos of. This is my place where we check our mail. I knew this area would be perfect based on the structure of it all. It was a bit embarrassing though, since someone was parked... right in front of it and watched me the entire time. I felt the need to rush, so I'm not too confident with these. To make myself look less suspicious, I quickly checked my mail and speed-walked home.
I wanted to take a look at my park after a bit of not going there (its been a couple weeks) and had a realization... Photos would be perfect here. And also I felt like having some fun. I climbed around and took a decent amount of photos and it was a lot of fun. Until some kids walked over and went, "Erm... Who's that?" I panicked, took one last photo, and walked away. People sure do like watching me take photos.
I kind of always loved my school's structure. The excessive amount of windows for natural lighting DOES look good. I wanted photos of it! This was right after my club so I had to tell my dad to wait a bit so I could snag some photos. It was a bit hard trying not to get any with students or cars in it cause there are a LOT of clubs on Tuesdays. Like a lot. So, I got a bit frustrated but it was worth it.

Double Exposure
For this, I took a photo of the woods in my "backyard" with a sunrise, kinda showing that happiness can seep through the cracks of despair (ooh poetic). I used this quote as kind of a reminder for me... that I may want everything to be amazing. I want all of my happiness to happen all at once but— It's not healthy. So... Y'know, this quote is just like me for real. I tried to make it look more simplistic cause... that's how I want life to be so bad man... HOWEVER, it's not possible, and that's okay! I do like my first selfie more, though.
